Our Process
Restorative justice is as much about process as it is about outcome. In other words, the way that we seek justice is as important as the justice result itself. Here, learn a bit about where our cases come from, how our deliberations with clients unfold, and what the data says about restorative justice.
Referral Sources
The program receives referrals from the following systems and agencies:
  • Charlottesville Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court
  • Albemarle Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court
  • Charlottesville General District Court
  • 16th District Court Services Unit
  • Community Attention (Teens Give)
  • Other community groups (neighborhood associations, schools)
