Staff
David Saunier serves as the Restorative Justice Coordinator. David was the first
person hired in the program and continues to shape both its long-term vision
and daily activities. He holds a Master's degree in Conflict Transformation
with emphasis on restorative justice studies. As a Charlottesville native, David cares deeply
about this community, and the ways in which we relate to each other. He has facilitated dialogues on race relations, and has served
in fair housing and anti-poverty efforts in the area.
Rebecca Stone
joined the CVRJ team as a program associate in June, 2010. She received her Master's degree at the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University with a concentration in Restorative Justice and Development. Becca brings with her several years of exprience working with youth; she has taught at Little Keswick School, a therapeutic boarding school for boys, and has worked with youth in Northern Ireland at a peace and reconciliation center.
Intern
Genny Stulb is our new 2011/12 intern. Genny joins us through the University Internship Program. She is a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, majoring in History and minoring in English Literature. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she looks forward to exploring her options in the law or history career field. Currently, she is the Public Relations Chairman for her sorority chapter and plays midfield on the UVA Women's Club Lacrosse Team.
Central Virginia RJ is housed at OAR-Jefferson Area Community Corrections which generously
provides pro bono administrative oversight.
