People Make it Happen
Just as restorative justice focuses on people and relationships, this program relies on a host of dedicated folks for its wellbeing.

David Saunier serves as the Restorative Justice Coordinator. David was the first person hired in the program and continues to shape both its long-term vision and daily activities. He holds a Master's degree in Conflict Transformation with emphasis on restorative justice studies. As a Charlottesville native, David cares deeply about this community, and the ways in which we relate to each other. He has facilitated dialogues on race relations, and has served in fair housing and anti-poverty efforts in the area.
